// About Bobby
Devoted Husband, Father, Papa
Bobby’s greatest joys in life are his wife, children and granddaughter.
Community
Bobby has lived in House District 88 for 40 years, since 1984. He is a faithful member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, also located in House District 88. In his free time he enjoys spending time with family, playing with his two sheltand sheepdogs, and coaching youth sports.
Work
Bobby spent most of his career in the finance industry and previously held series 7 and series 66 licenses. He spent the last 15 years of his career working for the State of Oklahoma and is now retired.
Childhood & Youth
Bobby was born in Oakland, California in 1966, and grew up in nearby Fremont. He moved to Oklahoma his senior year when the GM factory his father devoted his life to shut down. This experience helped inform Bobby’s convictions about work and family.
Education
Bobby holds a Bachelor’s degree in finance and management from Oklahoma City University, and a graduate degree in public administration from Anna Maria College. In addition, he has 24 additional hours in accounting from the University of Central Oklahoma, and is SHRM-CP certified.
Native American
Bobby is a proud member of the Achumawi Native American tribe, a federally-recognized tribe whose members are commonly referred to as Pit River Indians. Bobby’s late mother grew up in foster care in the Pit River Valley. His father, whose lineage is Scottish, hails from a coal mining town in Illinois.
